TBR| Jul-Sept '17

Haven't really got a set TBR this quarter. So, I'll stick to one or two books a month that I really want to get to over the next three months, as well as the plenty of books that I've started and need to get finished.

Currently Reading

  • Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J. K. Rowling
  • The Princess Diarest by Carrie Fisher
  • Winter by Marissa Meyer
  • If Birds Fly Back by Carlie Sorosik
  • Our Dark Duet by V.E. Schwab

July

The Sin Eater's Daughter (The Sin Eater's Daughter #1)
Melinda Salisbury

Find on Goodreads

Melinda is going to be at YALC (Young Adult Literature Convention) again at the end of the month. My aim is to get at least the first book finished before going and getting my copy signed.
Red Sister (Book of the Ancestor #1)
Mark Lawrence

I've been craving this book for so long, but always when I come back home to London and leave my copy back at Uni- like the true idiot I am.

I'm too scared that I won't love it because I will always keep comparing with the similar premise that Nevernight had.

Assassin's Apprentice (Farseer Trilogy #1)
Robin Hobb

A reread.

I have hit that part where I don't remember anything that really happened in book one to continue onto the second book.

So a reread is due.

August

Royal Assassin (Farseer Trilogy #2)
Robin Hobb

Find on Goodreads

Book 2.

My goal is to complete the Farseer trilogy by then end of this year.... at the latest.

Traitor's Blade (Greycoats #1)
Sebastian de Castell

Recently, I have been hearing a lot of positive talk about this series from a lot of people who's opinion I trust.

I ran out of time to read this during the Emojiathon, so I've stuck it one this list instead.

September

Assassin's Quest (Farseer Trilogy #3)
Robin Hobb

Find on Goodreads

Book 3.

Same reason that I want to read the other two books in the series. To try and complete it before the year is out.

Six of Crows (Six of Crows #1)
Leigh Bardugo

Find on Goodreads

This might just be one of the most hyped book on Twitter, Booktube and the Blogger world. I swear.

That being said, I have no expectation for this one?

I just know I want to read it and form my own opinion over it.

  1. Been reading Assassin's Apprentice with the Bf for a while now, but it's problematic to read books together with someone like that. That book is so dark though!
Really like your blog theme, BTW :)
